United Way of the National Capital Area to manage Out-of-School-Time data using Cityspan
The DC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education (DME) and United Way of the National Capital Area have selected Cityspan to develop and maintain a district wide out-of-school time system to support DME funded programs. More than 30 agencies will use Cityspan Provider™ to document program participation and outcomes across 200 program locations, including the Truancy Task Force’s attendance initiative. Integration with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education will give providers access to student academic data that will enhance their ability to support youth. Cityspan’s system also will collect program level data for the District’s Program Finder tool, enabling the District’s 85,000 youth and their families to locate services through a public website.
