Madison Out-of-School Time Initiative selects Cityspan for comprehensive view of youth services

Written by Kara Johnson | May 13, 2017

Cityspan has been selected to build a management information system for the Madison-area Out-of-School Time (MOST) initiative, a collaboration between the City of Madison, Dane County, Madison Metropolitan School District, and over 45 youth-serving agencies. Designed to strengthen coordination of student support across in-school and out-of-school time, the system will integrate with the district’s data system to provide a “wrap-around” view of services to a single youth across multiple agencies and programs. More than 75 programs will use the system to document services, perform individual and family case planning, and provide referrals to 11,000 marginalized youth. In addition, program quality data captured at program and system-wide levels will inform program improvement and systems-level decision-making.

Participating agencies include:

  • Bayview Foundation
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County
  • Girls Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland Council
  • Madison Public Library
  • Madison School & Community Recreation
  • Urban League of Greater Madison
  • YMCA of Dane County, Inc.
